Household moves deserve a plan that fits the home.
Residential moving

A household move planned around the house.

Every home moves differently. A two-story with a tight staircase, a condo with a reserved elevator window, a loft with a long carry from the garage — the plan is written around what your addresses actually require, not around a generic checklist.

What is included

What the crew handles on moving day.

Household moving with Carlos means a licensed and insured crew, protection first, order second, and placement exactly where you wanted it.

01

Protection before lifting

Runners, door guards, wrap, and pads go to work before your first piece moves.

02

Load order that travels

What loads last comes off first — beds and essentials land where the evening needs them.

03

Disassembly and reassembly

Furniture that comes apart goes back together in the right room, hardware accounted for.

04

Placement by your list

Room-by-room placement follows the priorities you shared during the estimate conversation.

Start with the home

Three homes, three different plans.

HouseDriveway position, staircase turns, and a truck placement that keeps the day moving.01
Condo or townhomeElevator reservations, building windows, and protected common areas from lobby to door.02
Apartment or loftStreet access, garage clearance, and a carry plan that respects your neighbors and your time.03
Tell us early

The details that save time on moving day.

Stairs and floor count. Driveway length and gate codes. The piano, the safe, the slate table, or the antique cabinet that needs a measured path. Elevator reservations and COI paperwork if your building requires them. Small details shared early become a smooth day; details discovered at the curb become delays. If boxes are part of the job, start with packing services; for shorter hops, local moving covers the route side.

Residential moving FAQ

What households ask before booking.

Can packing be part of a residential move?

Yes. Full-home packing, selected rooms, or fragile-only help can be added to the same estimate, and unpacking at the destination can be included too.

How do you protect floors and stairs?

Runners and door guards go down before the first box. Heavy pieces travel on pads, and common areas are protected when buildings require it.

What about unusually heavy or fragile pieces?

Flag them during the estimate conversation — pianos, safes, slate tables, large art. The plan accounts for the path, the protection, and the equipment before move day.

Does the estimate request book my move?

No. It starts the conversation. Scope, availability, and your date are confirmed directly with your coordinator.

belongings and two cars-in addition to 3 canceled flights and 14 day mandatory quarantine once we arrived to Texas. The coordinator kept us informed during the process. When we found out our first flight was cancelled and we would not be able to fly for at least another 3 weeks, they held our shipment for us and kept us updated on when things would arrive so we could plan accordingly. Our things arrived safely and I am thankful for the amazing service we had during these crazy times.

overcharged. It should not have taken 3 people 7.5 hours to pack and move a one bedroom apartment 3 miles. As a retired military wife I have been part of many moves including helping pack for a long-distance move (I was offered a job with the moving company). I think that one of the reasons it took so long was the excessive use of packing materials. It is completely unnecessary and environmentally irresponsible to wrap and tape many of the items individually especially for such a short move.
