Local moving

Two addresses. One route we already know.

A local move is not really about mileage — it is about what sits between your two front doors: where the truck can legally stand, which elevator needs reserving, and how many stairs stand between the curb and your kitchen. We plan that route first, then move the boxes.

What is included

What a Dallas local move covers.

The same crew that loads your truck is the crew that places your furniture — licensed and insured, with pads, wrap, and runners on every job.

01

Crew and truck sized to the move

Matched to your inventory and access, not guessed at the door.

02

Full furniture protection

Wrapping, pads, and floor and doorway protection on every job.

03

Disassembly and reassembly

Bed frames, table legs, and sofa sections come apart and go back where they belong.

04

Room-by-room placement

Everything lands in the room you assigned during the estimate conversation.

Same-day radius

Three local moves we run every week.

Same building, same blockFreight elevator windows, hallway widths, and a load order that never sends a box through twice.01
Across townA route planned around LBJ, Central, or the Tollway — with legal truck positions at both ends.02
Apartment into a houseTwo access plans in one day: the elevator slot at one end, the driveway and gate at the other.03
What changes the price

What your local estimate depends on.

Crew size, hours on site, stairs or elevators, the walk from truck to door, and parking at each address. A wide suburban driveway and a downtown loading dock are different jobs — the estimate conversation puts a number on yours, and that number is what the day costs.

Local moving FAQ

Same-building stops, extra stops, and the estimate.

Can you move us within the same building?

Yes. Same-building and nearby moves are still local moves — the plan focuses on the freight elevator, hallway widths, and building rules instead of the route. Include the building details in your request.

Can the truck make an extra stop?

Yes — list every stop in your estimate request. Storage units, a second pickup, or a drop-off on the way all become part of the route, and the coordinator confirms the timing.

Does the estimate form reserve my date?

No. The form starts the conversation. Your coordinator confirms scope, availability, and the date with you directly.

Is there a minimum charge for a local move?

Yes — like most professional movers, we carry a job minimum so every move gets a full crew and proper equipment. The estimate call confirms your exact minimum and the day’s schedule.

What should I have ready before the crew arrives?

Packed and labeled boxes if you are packing yourself, cleared walkways, and a short priority list — what comes off first at the new place. Packing help can be added to the same plan if you want a hand — see packing services. Apartment access questions? Apartment moving covers the building side.

belongings and two cars-in addition to 3 canceled flights and 14 day mandatory quarantine once we arrived to Texas. The coordinator kept us informed during the process. When we found out our first flight was cancelled and we would not be able to fly for at least another 3 weeks, they held our shipment for us and kept us updated on when things would arrive so we could plan accordingly. Our things arrived safely and I am thankful for the amazing service we had during these crazy times.

overcharged. It should not have taken 3 people 7.5 hours to pack and move a one bedroom apartment 3 miles. As a retired military wife I have been part of many moves including helping pack for a long-distance move (I was offered a job with the moving company). I think that one of the reasons it took so long was the excessive use of packing materials. It is completely unnecessary and environmentally irresponsible to wrap and tape many of the items individually especially for such a short move.
