How we work

We plan the access first.
Then we move the boxes.

Carlos Movers is a family-owned and operated moving crew — licensed and insured — running from a North Dallas base on Coit Road since 2014. Most of our days are spent on the same three problems every Dallas move turns on: where the truck parks, how your things get protected, and what order everything lands at the new place. Settle those early and move day gets quietly simple.

✓ The plan starts with both real addresses and your priorities.

✓ Parking, docks, elevators, and gates are settled before move day.

✓ Protection is matched to each piece, not bought as an afterthought.

✓ Placement notes ride with the crew, so nothing gets re-asked at the door.

On every truck

What a Carlos crew arrives with.

The standard kit is part of the service, not an upcharge conversation.

01

Floor and doorway protection

Runners and door guards go down before the first box crosses your threshold.

02

Pads, wrap, and blankets

Sofas, tables, mattresses, and fragile pieces get padded and wrapped for the ride.

03

Tools for disassembly

Bed frames, table legs, and sofa sections come apart and go back together in the right rooms.

04

Room labels and a load plan

Boxes and furniture are staged by destination room, following the placement list you approved.

The people on your move

Three roles, one plan.

You will recognize the structure of the crew because the plan is written for people, not improvised on the curb.

Coordinator

Owns your estimate, the schedule, and the building contacts. The person you actually talk to.

Planning

Crew lead

Runs the load order and protection on site, and keeps the day moving without rushing your things.

Move day

Packers

Handle kitchens, closets, and fragile items when packing is part of the scope — labeled for the destination, not the origin.

Packing

Where we work

Dallas first, then the Metroplex.

Our base on Coit Road puts most of Dallas within a short drive, and the crew regularly works Irving, Garland, Richardson, Plano, Fort Worth, and the rest of the cities we serve. Wherever your two addresses sit, the same planning standard applies: access first, protection second, placement third. Ask about senior and military discounts when you request your estimate.

belongings and two cars-in addition to 3 canceled flights and 14 day mandatory quarantine once we arrived to Texas. The coordinator kept us informed during the process. When we found out our first flight was cancelled and we would not be able to fly for at least another 3 weeks, they held our shipment for us and kept us updated on when things would arrive so we could plan accordingly. Our things arrived safely and I am thankful for the amazing service we had during these crazy times.

overcharged. It should not have taken 3 people 7.5 hours to pack and move a one bedroom apartment 3 miles. As a retired military wife I have been part of many moves including helping pack for a long-distance move (I was offered a job with the moving company). I think that one of the reasons it took so long was the excessive use of packing materials. It is completely unnecessary and environmentally irresponsible to wrap and tape many of the items individually especially for such a short move.
